As a reminder: Chocolate and perishable gifts need to ship via Next Day air May 15th through mid October.
The following gift baskets are recommended to ship via Next Day air only during this time with an additional $5.00 surcharge for ice and cold wrap. Please specify you want the additional ice and cold wrap in the order comments.

If you want to ship one of these gifts via ground we are more than happy to accommodate your request. You ship these gift at your own risk at all times from May through October. We do not offer refunds or discounts of any kind for melted or damaged chocolates even when they are shipped via air.

We do not pay claims of any kind on these items if they melt, even when shipping via next day air.

All other gifts containing chocolate will have the chocolates substituted out for hard candies when the gift ships any way other than next day air.

APO, FPO & PO Box Shipping

We do offer shipping to all APO, FPO however we do not ship to any PO Boxes. However, all these shipments take one to two additional days to ship out. In addition there are no loss claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims honored under any circumstances. You ship these orders at your own risk. When shipping to any and all Military bases the proper zip and address format are:

Standardized APO/ FPO shipping

As of March 1, 2009 all APO and FPO shipping will be standardized to the following prices:

·                     All AE shipments $19.95

·                     All FPO, AP/AA shipments $22.95

Please remember however not all gifts are available to ship to APO and FPO destinations and we do not offer claim service of any kind. Gifts which come boxed in a box size larger than 18x16x12 are not available for shipping via USPS. You ship these gifts at your own risk. Also, please remember all USPS shipments do take 1-2 extra days to ship out and do not fall under our standard shipping guidelines.

PO Box Destinations
The cat and The Fiddle Too Does ship to all PO box destinations. However, all USPS shipments do take 1-2 extra days to ship out and do not fall under our standard shipping guidelines. US mail delivery offers limited tracking information and is not as reliable as UPS and or Federal Express. Tracking information may or may not include various scans as the item is en-route to the destination. Not all postal shipments will be trackable prior to delivery. The Cat And The Fiddle Too will not be responsible for non-trackable packages. You ship these items at your own risk and replacement items will not be shipped when an item is not trackable. Once an item is delivered it will offer proof of delivery. Standard ground service is the only option on all
postal shipments. We do not offer express service of any kind on USPS shipments.

Can I track Priority Mail International?

Priority Mail International has delivery information limited only to major destinations. The only international mail service that offers full tracking is Express Mail service (including Global Express Guaranteed® and Express Mail International®). Tracking information includes various scans as the item is en-route to the destination. Not all postal shipments will be trackable prior to delivery. The Cat And The Fiddle Too will not be responsible when an item shipped is not trackable.

Shipping Internationally

We offer shipping to all Canadian addresses via UPS. Shipments take one extra day to ship out and are shipped via UPS. However, there will be no claims offered or honored on these shipments. These are shipped at your own risk. All orders shipping to Canada will be at our discretion  to accept or decline to accept. No loss claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims can be honored under any circumstances. You ship these orders at your own risk.

Substitutions and Returns

We do reserve the right to make substitutions and do find the need to at various times throughout the year. Also, not all packaging may look identical to the products photographed as designer packaging does change quite frequently. With this in mind please be aware that a substitution or variance in flavor or packaging does not justify an item being returned at our expense, a discount or refund of any kind.

Claims & Returns

All damage claims, discrepancies and late delivery claims must be made within 3 business days of the gift being received. There will be No exceptions to this policy. If a gift arrives damaged or there is a discrepancy in the gift ordered and what was received Gift Basket Drop Shipping will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner and to your customer's satisfaction if and when this issue is reported within 3 business days. Credits and or refunds will be at the sole discretion of Gift basket Drop Shipping and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be verified by the carrier. If your customer disposes of the gift before we can verify the damages/discrepancy we will not issue any refund. All claims must be issued in writing by fax or e-mail. Claims will not be accepted via the phone.

If for any reason the recipient or purchaser is unhappy with a gift they may certainly return it.

1.                  If the gift is simply not wanted, or the customer is not satisfied they may ship it back to us at their own expense and receive a partial and in some cases a full refund. The refund is based on the gifts perish ability and condition upon being returned. The gift must be unopened and un-tampered with.

2.                  If the gift is damaged or we have made an error in sending the incorrect gift: We will call tag the original gift and either ship a new one or refund the gift in full. However if we cannot call tag the gift no refund or credit will be offered. Retrieving the gift is the only way we have of verifying the damages and placing a claim with UPS.

In the event a carrier returns a gift due to being refused, a bad address being supplied or non availability of a recipient all shipping charges assessed by the carrier will be added to the members bill and the member will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges usually consist of shipping to the recipient, shipping back to Gift Basket Drop Shipping and any address correction fees. Gifts delivered late or not according to the time in transit map may receive a partial shipping refund based on the circumstances. There will be no discount or refund on the gift itself when delivered late and a gift may not be returned due to a late delivery.

Fees & Surcharges

We ship to your address listed in eBay sold to, we can not be held responsible for any eBay address that is not correct. Please see the surcharges involved in correcting a bad address. So to prevent any surcharges or other fees make sure your ship to address is correct on eBay.

If a package is returned to us by UPS due to a bad address, non-deliverable address or recipient refusal there is an a charge of 10.00 in addition to the address correction fee to cover return shipping and all of the charges UPS charges us due to this error. Gifts delivered late or not according to the time in transit map may receive a partial shipping refund based on the circumstances. There will be no discount or refund on the gift itself when delivered late and a gift may not be returned due to a late delivery.

Fruit Restrictions & Shipping

Due to the perishable nature of fruit we have several restrictions and limitations on shipping.  Please use the following guidelines when ordering fruit.

Important Shopping Note: Due to USDA or state-level Departments of Agriculture, some fruit

items cannot be shipped to certain states. Please refer to the list below to guide you while

shopping.

AZ-no fresh fruit shipping into AZ.

CA-no fresh citrus shipping into CA

FL-no citrus or mangoes shipping into FL

ID-no apples or pears shipping into ID

LA-no citrus shipping into LA

OR-no citrus shipping into OR

TX-no citrus shipping into TX

WA-no citrus shipping into WA

Sorry, we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, to APO/FPO addresses or any

countries besides the US at this time.

Delivery period: So that fruit arrives in peak condition, it cannot spend more than 3 days in

transit or sit around all weekend at the UPS facility. So please see below for guidelines on when

your gift will be shipped and delivered. Please email catfid2@yahoo.comwith any questions!

·  Orders placed online Friday after 1:00 PM CST, Saturday, Sunday and Monday through

1:00 CST on Monday will ship on Monday. Shipping options are 3-Day, 2-Day or Next

Day service for those orders. (and ground to select zones. See the Map below for

available ground delivery states.)

·  Orders placed by 1:00 CST Tuesday will ship on Tuesday. Shipping options are 3-Day,

2-Day or Next Day service for those orders. (and ground to select zones. See the Map

below for available ground delivery states.)

·  Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST on Wednesday will ship on Wednesday. Shipping options

are 2-Day or Next Day service for those orders.

·  Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST on Thursday will ship on Thursday but the only shipping

option is Next Day service.

Orders placed after the daily fruit cut-off of 1:00 PM CST will be processed the next day so

please pay close attention to shipping restrictions.

 

Ground Shipping

Ground service is only an option to select zones and is only available for orders placed for

shipping on Monday and Tuesday. All fruit orders placed Wednesday, Thursday or Friday do not

offer ground shipping and must select the appropriate express shipping option.

Ground shipping is available to zones 1 and 2 on the UPS map below. All other zones must

select an express shipping option. Please remember none of the delivery options for transit times

include the actual day the gift ships.

 

Shipping

All orders placed with 3 Day, 2 Day or Next day air shipping by 1:00 PM CST ship within 24 Hours. Air orders placed after 1:00 PM CST ship the next business day. All ground orders are guaranteed to ship within one business day in other words 24-48 hours. Ground orders are not guaranteed to ship the same day. Ground orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship Monday or Tuesday.

Saturday Delivery Saturday delivery is available only by shipping next day air on Friday and requesting Saturday delivery n the shipping comments. Standard air options deliver Monday thru Friday only. Saturday delivery is the cost of Next Day air service plus an additional $15.50 and again is by special request only. We do not offer 2nd day air Saturday delivery service except under special promotions and offers. Transit times do not include the day a gift ships, Holidays, Saturday or Sunday.

Alaska and Hawaii - Please add $15.50 to the standard ground prices for ground shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.(Excluding Fruit, and Cookies)
Please add $24.50 to the Next Day air prices for expedited shipping to Alaska & Hawaii. (Excluding Fruit and Cookies)
All APO, FPO, PO Boxes and Canadian shipments ship via the USPS. Fruit and Cookies are not available for shipping to PO boxes, FPO, APO, or Canadian shipments.
Standard shipping and delivery days are Monday-Friday. Saturday Delivery is available upon request for an additional fee. Please add $15.50 to the next day air price for Saturday Delivery.
Late Delivery & Service Guarantee Refunds: In the event a carrier delivers a gift late a shipping refund may be approved but, is not always guaranteed. Carriers do not offer refunds of any kind on late deliveries involving a bad address, missing apartment number, incorrect zip codes or any other information supplied which is not accurate. In addition carriers do not offer refunds involving but not limited to the following: Acts of God, weather conditions, Emergency conditions beyond their control, mechanical delays of aircrafts or other equipment failures and several additional issues. Please request a copy of the Carriers Terms & Conditions for a complete listing.

Holidays/ Closures

Please take note that we are closed and no shipping will occur on the following days. All orders due to ship on these days will ship the next operating business day.

  • July 4th and July 5th, 2011 in observance of Independence Day
  • September 2nd and September 5th, 2011 in observance of Labor Day
  • November 24th and 25th,2011 in observance of Thanksgiving

    (Only shipping of orders placed before 1 PM CST on 12/21/2011
    will ship on 12/22/2009. The deadline for shipping an order prior to
    Christmas is 12/21/2011 at 1 PM CST.)
